Resilience in Children.

A very informative post by UTBT.

All
parents have an in built reflux that wants to reach out and wipe away all their
child’s misery. But are they really that delicate? The truth is children are
pretty resilient. Much resilient than what we give them credit for!

She has also written about the childhood of Nobel Laureate Dr.Mario Capecchi. Very inspiring. We are waiting for a follow up post too.

Hi there,

This reminds me of the time we got Adi home after birth and were always fearful that we would 'break' him!! Really, they look so delicate, its difficult to believe that they are actually quite resilient!

Great going, Indian Mommies!

That is true! esp. so in the case of parents with a single child. They tend to over protect their kids most of the time.
